This is the Story of Tenali Raman And Two Thieves. Once Tenali Raman was sleeping with his wife in his house at night.
Suddenly he heard some voices. Tenali Rama, after hearing his voice, suspected that two thieves had entered his house to steal.
Tenali said to his wife that it seems that someone has come to steal, then we should put our precious jewels and valuables in a bag and throw it inside the well.
After which Tenali along with his wife threw a bag filled with his precious belongings in the well.
At the same time, The thieves had listened to them and those thieves went to the well and started getting the water out from the well.
After working hard all night, when the thieves got the bag, then there were stones in that bag.
After which, Tenali came there and he thanked the thieves and said that..
..Thank You! you have given water to the flowers in my garden and cleaned the well.
Thieves were surprised and they apologized to Tenali for this act of theirs.
They said that he should not tell anyone that they are thieves.
Tenali promised them that he would not tell anyone anything. But they have to quit the theft profession.
After this incident, These thieves never robbed anyone and started working hard to earn money.
