If You Give a Mouse a Cookie Short Story

Once upon a time, in a small cozy house, there was a curious and adventurous mouse named Milo. One sunny morning, a boy named Max was sitting at the kitchen table, eating some yummy chocolate chip cookies. The smell of the cookies caught Milo’s attention, and he came out of his tiny mouse hole to see what was happening.

Max saw Milo and decided to share a cookie with him. He put a warm cookie on a small plate and placed it on the table for Milo. “Here you go, little mouse,” Max said kindly.

Milo was really happy and took a bite of the cookie. He loved it! But then, he saw Max’s glass of milk and thought the cookie would be even better with some milk. “I want some milk too!” Milo said excitedly.

Max laughed and gave Milo a little cup of milk. Milo dipped his cookie in the milk and enjoyed the tasty combination.

While Milo was eating, he noticed some colorful crayons on the table. He got an idea to draw something fun. He asked Max for a piece of paper and started drawing a world with cookie mountains and milk rivers. He got so into drawing that he didn’t notice the crayons making a mess.

After finishing his drawing, Milo realized there was a mess. He decided to clean it up. While cleaning, he found a piece of string. Milo had a clever idea to make a swing with it. Max helped him tie the string to a chair, and Milo swung back and forth happily, pretending he was flying.

After playing on the swing, Milo felt tired and took a nap in a cozy spot. When he woke up, he felt happy and full of energy. He thanked Max for the cookie and the fun time and went back to his mouse hole, ready for more adventures.

So, in that little house, sharing a simple cookie with a mouse led to a bunch of fun things happening. It taught Max and Milo that even small things can make life exciting and bring happiness to friends.
